About San Diego
The 372-Square Mile San Diego City ranks as the second largest city within the State of California. It is currently the eighth largest city in the United Sates and is home to almost 1.4 million citizens as of the year 2015.
It is located near the city of Tijuana, Mexico, in fact it is adjacent to the border.
Its main economic drivers include Defense and Military related activities, manufacturing, international trade, tourism, as well as research particularly in the area of biotechnology. Start-ups are also very well encouraged in the city, with most of them starting their ventures in San Diego.

San Diego also has the busiest border crossing in the whole international scene. It processes trucks crossing the 24-kilometer border crossing shared by Mexico and the United States.
San Diego is also home to a number of multinational companies in the wireless cellular business. The headquarters of Qualcomm, LG, Nokia, Kyocera International, Novatel Wireless, and Cricket Communications are located in San Diego.
Tourist Destinations also drive economic growth for San Diego. Its popular attractions include Sea World, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Zoo Safari, and Balboa Park.
