2014 FARM VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS & WEEK-ENDS (Open Sign-up)
Join theMOVE as we spend Food Day 2017 week end, camping and volunteering on a lush sustainable farm, at Bay End Organic Farm, Buzzards Bay, MA ( 1 hour south of Boston). The farm is family owned and was established in 1906. This is a unique chance to immerse yourself in an organic farm experience, local food, physical activity and good company. Farm Volunteer Week- End Experience – Picadilly Farm in Winchester NH. Friday, July 25th – Sunday July, 26th. Sign up here. Join theMOVE as we camp on a lush sustainable farm, at Picadilly Farm, New Hampshire. This is a unique chance to immerse yourself in a farm experience, wholesome food and great company.
$100 trip fee includes:
- Transportation (via carpool) to and from NH.
- Accommodations ( Camping site, tent, sleeping bag and equipment, if you do not have your own). Access to restrooms, choice of indoor or outdoors, and comfortable spaces for meals.
- Meals +Snacks – Daily Farm-to-Table breakfast + lunch + dinner on Saturday, breakfast + lunch on Sunday, and your choice of wholesome snacks.
- Other group activities, may include leisure trips to a local state Park.
If you need to cancel your participation, you will be refunded 100% of the trip fee if done by Friday 7/4 or 50% of the trip fee if done by Friday 7/11. Limited scholarships available. For more information, please visit farmvolunteer.org/volunteer or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
